ICBRKR TRAVEL GUIDE: IBIZA
IBIZA
Ibiza is one of five Balaeric islands, situated off the east coast of Spain in the western Mediterranean Sea. Historically, Ibiza was a small port town populated by Phoenicians, Romans, Arabs and Spanish. In the 1930’s and 1960’s, it transformed into a mecca of peace and love: an epicenter for bohemian hippies, artists and musicians. The culmination of European, Indian and American cultural influences gives Ibiza a free-spirited essence, allowing you to set your creative and experimental soul free. Ibiza can be a holistic journey for the mind body and soul, or a journey filled with electronic music dance parties for the more social nocturnal creatures. Ibiza has a long history of being the destination for the super chic, which is why it remains among some of the most popular summer travel destinations today.
